FAMILY-FRIENDLY MOVIES Parents should take note that most festival offerings are intended for the adult general public. Some selections may contain language, nudity, sexual situations, or violence that is too intense for children. Some documentaries may deal with difficult topics that are too intense for children. Family-friendly movies are clearly marked in this program. While independent movies do not receive ratings from the Motion Picture Association of American (the group that rates Hollywood movies), family-friendly movies here at Landlocked are considered to be those which in generally might be rated from G to PG-13 and thus can be enjoyed by family groups as well as individual adults.
